Cinderella Story: Donate A Dress Today
Posted on 29 November 2016
Homecoming is over and the excitement for PROM is building, but what do you do with those gorgeous dresses hanging in your closet from last season? You could always recycle them and where them again (check out our cute ideas) or you could embrace the reason for the season and donate to a local charity. Think of yourself as the fairy godmother and you're granting Cinderella's wish!
Check out a few national nonprofits that accept donations year round:
1) Becca's Closet: nonprofit with over 90 chapters nationwide started by the late Rebecca Kirtman in South Florida
2) Operation Prom: nonprofit based in New York, with chapters nationwide
3) Project G.L.A.M: prom dress giveaway event hosted by the WGirls, an international organization in the US and UK
